The Pulse Of Now
As Hurricane Melissa tore across Jamaica last week, homes were lost, power was gone, and entire communities were holding their breath beneath a sky that wouldn’t stop roaring. Nature has reminded us, once again, that she is not separate from us, she is us. The wind does not ask for permission. The ocean does not apologize. And yet, within the destruction, there is something sacred happening.
The hurricane is not here to punish. It is here to reveal. We live believing we are in control, that our plans and structures can hold steady forever. But the storm strips away illusion. It shows us how fragile our sense of safety truly is, and at the same time, how profoundly connected we are when all else is gone.
The Mirror Of Life
The hurricane outside mirrors the hurricane within. We all have storms that move through our lives: loss, grief, betrayal, fear. Forces that arrive uninvited and undo the structures we’ve built around our hearts.
When life rips through us, our instinct is to resist. We fight the wind. We try to hold on. Butthe truth is that life’s storms don’t come to destroy us, they come to strip away what no longer serves us.The walls we cling to are the very ones that keep us from freedom.
So I ask you: What storm is moving through your life right now? Where are you being asked to let go, even as every part of you wants to hold on? What if this destruction is not punishment, but purification, a dismantling of illusion so that truth can emerge?
Truth In Action
When I align with Love+Truth, I see that life is not happeningtous, butthroughus. Every storm, literal or internal is an initiation. It invites us to remember that we were never the walls, the possessions, or the plans we made. We are the awareness that remains when everything else falls away.
Love is not comfort. Love is clarity. It shows us what is real when everything else is stripped bare.Truth is not fragile. Truth does not break when the winds rise, it stands revealed in their wake.
When I choose to meet life’s storms with love, I stop asking “Why is this happening?” and start asking, “What is this revealing?” The shift is everything. One question breeds suffering; the other invites awakening.
The Call Within
This moment calls for presence, not panic. Wherever you are, whether
you’re safe in your home or standing in the wreckage of what was… breathe.
Remember:You are not the storm. You are the calm awareness witnessing it.
Ask yourself:
What is life asking me to release right now?
How can I soften instead of resist what is unfolding?
What truth is being revealed in this season of loss or uncertainty?
The winds will settle. The water will recede. What will remain is truth: raw, unadorned, and real. Let this storm not just pass through your land, but through your consciousness. Let it clear what needs clearing, so that when the sun returns, it shines not on what was, but on what is now ready to grow.
The storm may shake the world, but it cannot shake who you truly are.
Once you see, you cannot unsee..
Love+Truth,
Robert
